| The Information Technology department supports all operations of business in Banning Unifed School District. Technology is an integral part of district operations as all accounting systems are completely online. The district's student information system, food services, email, transportation, procurement, benefits, and payroll systems are all also electronic in nature. The many systems require constant upkeep and connectivity to work efficiently and completely. As the district grows annually the needs of each system increase yearly and so will the effort provided by Information Technology.
It is the goal of Information Technology to move the district to an electronic storage based system to handle the 100 years worth of records that are currently in paper format across the district. Provide 100% uptime for all district business systems as we move in the coming years to online energy management, online district security systems, and more improved service. |
