Welcome to the Banning Unified School District's Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (CIA) Division. The CIA Division supports teachers and administrators by providing professional development, easy access to assessment data and research-based interventions so that students receive a well rounded standards-based curriculum delivered through a variety of instructional strategies in a safe positive school climate.

Our Mission

The Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Division ensures success for all students by supporting the mission of The Banning Unified School District, as measured by ongoing district, state and federal assessments, through standards-aligned curriculum, research-based instruction provided by well-trained, highly-qualified teachers and support staff, effective implementation of district, state and federal programs and a safe school climate.
