The Banning Unified School District invites students, families, and community members to the Back to School Celebration as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year together. This Districtwide event is designed to support families, provide important resources, and build connections across our schools and community.

The Back to School Celebration is a Districtwide event designed to support students and families as we prepare for the start of the 2026–2027 school year. Join Banning Unified School District for a welcoming and engaging experience focused on connection, preparation, and access to important resources.

Families will have the opportunity to connect with school staff, receive support with enrollment and registration, and access key information such as transportation, nutrition services, after-school programs, and parent communication tools. Community partners will also be available to provide additional resources and services that support student and family success.

Students and families can enjoy interactive activities, music, and a positive environment that brings the community together. A backpack giveaway and additional prizes will be available for current students while supplies last.

This event is designed for the entire family and provides an opportunity to start the school year informed, prepared, and connected.

Event Information & Registration

This is a free community event, and all students, families, and community members are welcome to attend. Registration is requested to help the District plan for attendance, materials, and resources.

Please complete one form per household prior to attending.

By registering, families help ensure:

  • Adequate supplies and materials are available

  • Appropriate staffing and support are in place

  • A smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees
