Educational Services

The Instructional Services Department provides leadership and support for teaching, learning, and academic achievement across the District. Working in partnership with teachers, administrators, and school staff, the department ensures every student has access to a rigorous, standards-based education through high-quality instruction, professional learning, assessment, and research-based interventions. Instructional Services also oversees key academic programs, including English Learner Services, Dual Immersion, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), Indian Education, and DELAC, while coordinating state assessments, Williams Act compliance, and Districtwide academic events that enrich student learning.

The Special Education Department is committed to providing individualized services and supports that empower students with disabilities to achieve academic, social, and emotional success. Through collaboration with families, educators, and community partners, the department ensures eligible students receive a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment. Services are guided by each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and are designed to promote inclusion, independence, and meaningful educational opportunities that prepare students for lifelong success.

The Student Services Department is dedicated to supporting the whole child by providing programs and services that promote student success, well-being, attendance, and school safety. Through partnerships with families, school sites, community organizations, and county agencies, the department works to remove barriers to learning while fostering positive, inclusive, and supportive school environments. Student Services oversees a variety of programs that ensure every student has access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Innovation Technology Services Department delivers the technology infrastructure, systems, and support that enable teaching, learning, communication, and District operations. The department manages the District's network, cybersecurity, cloud services, student information systems, classroom technology, and technical support while partnering with departments to implement innovative technology solutions. By maintaining reliable, secure, and forward-thinking technology resources, Innovation Technology Services helps create connected learning environments that prepare students and staff for success in an increasingly digital world.
