Immunizations & Health Screenings
Vaccinations protect students from potentially life-threatening illnesses and help prevent the spread of communicable diseases in our community. California School Immunization Law requires all students in grades K–12 to be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella (chickenpox).
Students must meet both:
- The minimum age for the first dose
- The minimum interval between doses
Failure to meet immunization requirements may result in a student being excluded from school until the requirements are met.
