The Banning Teachers Association (BTA) salary schedule applies to certificated employees represented by the union and includes placement based on education and years of service.

The current salary schedule is effective July 1, 2025.

The California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 147 salary schedule establishes pay ranges for classified positions represented by the union, including instructional support, office, maintenance, transportation, nutrition services, and other support roles.

The current salary schedule is effective July 1, 2025.

Banning Unified School District establishes Board-approved pay rates for substitute employees who provide temporary support across the District. These positions are compensated according to designated daily or hourly rates.

The current Certificated Substitute Teacher pay rate is effective September 16, 2021.

Specialist Substitute Pay Rate (PDF)

The current Mental Health Therapist, Psychologist, Nurse, and Speech-Language Pathologist substitute pay rate was Board approved on October 13, 2021.

Non-represented positions include management, confidential, and other administrative roles that are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Compensation for these positions is established through Board-approved salary schedules.
