Extended School Year

Supporting Student Progress Beyond the School Year

Extended School Year (ESY) is a program offered beyond the regular school year to help eligible students maintain academic and social skills. ESY is an extension of services and related services identified in a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Students are eligible for ESY based on their current IEP. Families of eligible students are notified directly. The program is designed to provide continued support and consistency for students who qualify for services during the summer session.
