Serving the Students, Families, and Community of Banning Unified School District
The Banning Unified School District Board of Trustees is committed to providing leadership, oversight, and direction to ensure all students receive a high-quality education. As a governing body established under California law, the Board sets District policies, adopts the budget, approves educational programs, and works in partnership with the Superintendent to advance student achievement and well-being.
The Board’s primary responsibilities include:

Supporting student-focused policies and programs

Advocating for public education in the local community and beyond
Trustees work closely with the Superintendent to ensure Banning USD remains a safe, supportive, and innovative environment for all students. The Board holds regular public meetings and values community input in guiding decisions that shape the future of education in Banning.
