Arrival Information

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to the Nicolet Middle School Football Stadium before the ceremony begins.

Please follow all posted signage and directions from event staff upon arrival.

Accessibility Parking

Accessible parking will be available for guests displaying a valid ADA placard or license plate. Accessibility parking spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To help ensure a safe and smooth commencement ceremony, all guests must follow event entry requirements. Clear bags only will be permitted. All guests and belongings are subject to security screening upon arrival, and entry is conditional upon compliance.

The following items are not allowed inside the venue:

• Weapons or any item that may be used as a weapon
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products (including e-cigarettes)
• Balloons
• Gift bags
• Poster boards
• Blow horns and noisemakers
• Confetti, poppers, silly string, and any celebratory materials that may disrupt the event or create safety hazards

All prohibited items will be confiscated, destroyed, and will not be returned.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and be prepared for screening at the entrance. By entering the stadium, all attendees agree to follow all School and District event expectations and help maintain a respectful environment for all graduates and families.

Admission to the Nicolet Middle School Promotion Ceremony requires a valid event ticket. All guests, including family and friends, must present a ticket for entry into the stadium.

Ticket Information

• Each promoting student received five guest tickets for the ceremony.
• One ticket is required per guest.
• Guests should have their ticket ready upon arrival.
• Tickets must be presented at the entrance for admission.

Staff Admission

Banning Unified School District staff members may enter the ceremony with a valid District employee badge and will not require a ticket for entry. Please note that employee badges only provide admission for the staff member wearing the badge and may not be used for additional guests.

Guest Entry

• Stadium gates will open at 8:30 AM.
• Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, walking to the stadium, and security screening.
• Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise designated.

To help ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all students and families:

• Please remain seated during the ceremony whenever possible.
• Be mindful of views and walkways during student recognition moments.
• Follow all directions from staff, security personnel, and event officials.
• Help create a positive and memorable experience for all promoting students.

The Nicolet Middle School Promotion Ceremony is an outdoor event held at the Nicolet Middle School Football Stadium. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for warm weather conditions and wear comfortable footwear.

Please note that stadium seating consists of metal bleachers, which may become hot during the morning hours. Guests may wish to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and bottled water while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

As temperatures are expected to be warm, guests are encouraged to stay hydrated and take appropriate precautions for sun exposure.

Safety Information

To help maintain a safe environment for all attendees:

• A first aid station staffed by the District nurse will be available during the ceremony.
• Support will be provided by the Banning Police Department and the Banning Unified School District Security Team.
• All guests and belongings are subject to security screening upon entry.
• Guests should immediately notify event staff if medical assistance is needed.

We are committed to capturing the memorable moments that make this milestone so special for our palominos and their families. Throughout the evening, District photographers will be present to document the ceremony—from students walking the stage to celebrations in the crowd and everything in between.

Our goal is to preserve these moments so families can revisit and share this important achievement for years to come.

To ensure a safe, respectful, and organized experience for all attendees, the following entry requirements will be in place for the Nicolet Middle School Promotion Ceremony:

Ticket Required for Entry
All attendees must present a valid ticket at the entrance. Entry will not be permitted without a ticket.

Security Screening
For the safety of all guests, security personnel will conduct bag checks and screenings. Entry is conditional upon compliance with all security procedures.

Clear Bag Policy
A clear bag policy will be enforced. Guests are encouraged to bring only clear bags to expedite entry. Small personal items may be carried in a small clutch or wallet. All items are subject to inspection.

No Re-Entry
Once admitted, guests who leave the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.

Behavior Expectations
All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the event.
