Banning Unified School District’s leadership structure is built on collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to student success. The Executive Cabinet—comprised of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents—provides strategic oversight for key divisions such as Educational Services, Human Resources, and Business Services. The Extended Cabinet includes department directors and district-level administrators who manage specialized programs and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Leadership Team brings together Assistant Superintendents, District Administrators, and School Site Administrators to align goals, share best practices, and support instructional leadership across the District. Our School Site Administration teams—principals and assistant principals—lead campus operations and create safe, inclusive environments focused on student learning. Guiding and supporting this entire leadership structure is the Governance Team, made up of the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent, who work together to set policy, ensure transparency, and uphold the District’s mission and vision.
