School Accountability Report Cards

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) provides detailed information about each school within Banning USD. Mandated by both state and federal law since 1988, SARCs are designed to give parents and caregivers the tools to make meaningful comparisons between public schools and to make informed decisions regarding their child’s education. By offering transparency, SARCs also serve as a way for schools to report on their progress toward achieving key goals.

Purpose

SARCs are an invaluable resource for parents, caregivers, and the community to evaluate and compare schools across various performance indicators. They promote accountability, transparency, and a deeper understanding of the programs, progress, and opportunities available within Banning USD schools.
