Senate Bill 854, signed into law June 20, 2014, became effective immediately. It established a new public works vendor/contractor registration program. Banning Unified School District has adopted the following procedures in order to remain compliant with the program as it involves School Districts. Proposed vendors and contractors will receive a notice instructing them to comply with the SB 854 Public Works mandates. In addition, they must fill out and return a Registration Certification form annually, and the PWC-100 Information form for approved projects to aid the District in DIR PWC-100 entries online.
